Conversational

Message it like texting an assistant.

"What does my day look like tomorrow?" "Move my 3pm with Sarah to Thursday." "Don't schedule anything before 9am this week." It books, reschedules, and remembers the rule.

Setup

How to use Blockit in Slack

Blockit is AI-powered, and AI responses can occasionally be inaccurate — double-check meeting details before they go out.

01

Connect your calendar

Sign up at blockit.com and connect Google or Outlook. This is the part that takes the two minutes.

02

Add to Slack

In Blockit, open Settings → Integrations → Slack, tap Add to Slack, and authorize your workspace.

03

Say the word

DM it, or add it to a channel and @mention it. The first invite usually lands before you've closed the thread.

Trust

It reads messages only where it's invited.

Blockit reads message content in the DMs you send it and the conversations you add it to. Like any Slack app, it can see workspace basics — names, emails, the list of channels — never the messages in the rest of your workspace.

FAQs

Does Blockit read my Slack messages?
It reads messages only where you've invited it: DMs you send to Blockit, and the channels or group DMs you've added it to. Like any Slack app, it can see workspace basics — names, emails, and the list of conversations — but never the messages in conversations you haven't invited it to.
Do I need workspace admin approval?
Depends on your workspace settings. If app installs are restricted, Slack routes your request to an admin — one approval covers the whole workspace.
Do my teammates need Blockit too?
No — you can schedule with anyone. But when a teammate also runs Blockit, both calendars are visible to the agent and the meeting autoblocks in seconds instead of days.
What can I ask it in Slack?
Anything you'd ask an assistant: "What does my day look like tomorrow?", "Move my 3pm with Sarah to Thursday", "Don't schedule anything before 9am this week". Same agent, same memory, same preferences as email.
Can I try it free?
30 days, no credit card. Add it to Slack and send it one message.
