Join the private beta to connect once from Team Settings. Blockit matches active Zoom users by email and creates meetings for the intended host across your team.

The meeting belongs to the person hosting it.

When Blockit schedules for a teammate, it matches their email to an active user in your Zoom account and creates a unique meeting for that host. Reschedules stay in sync with the same Zoom meeting.

When Zoom is selected for a meeting, Blockit prefers an eligible organization-managed host, then personal Zoom, then the calendar's existing default provider. A missing managed host does not stop scheduling on its own.

FAQs

What is the difference between personal and organization-managed Zoom?

A personal connection lets Blockit create meetings using your own Zoom account. Zoom for Admin, currently in private beta, lets an administrator connect Zoom once so Blockit can create meetings for matching, eligible users across the connected Zoom account.

Does every teammate need to connect Zoom?

Not when Zoom for Admin is enabled. If a teammate's Blockit email matches an active, eligible user in the connected Zoom account, Blockit can create the meeting for that host without a separate personal connection.

Can Blockit use my personal Zoom when managed Zoom is unavailable?

Yes. When Zoom is selected for a meeting and Blockit cannot resolve an eligible managed host, it can use the person's connected personal Zoom account. If Zoom is unavailable entirely, the existing calendar-provider fallback can still be used.

What Zoom data does Blockit use?

Blockit looks up active Zoom users to choose the intended host and creates, reads, and updates meetings it schedules. The organization directory is fetched live and is not stored; Blockit keeps only the connection and meeting metadata needed to maintain those meetings.

Can Zoom connections be removed?

Yes. Individuals can disconnect their personal Zoom account, and an administrator can remove the organization app from Zoom. Blockit disables removed connections and clears their associated credentials.
